On Saturday Liberal Democrat MEP, Sharon Bowles joined other Lib Dem European candidates and campaigners to launch the Liberal Democrat campaign for this June's elections.

On June 4 you can choose a different, better future by voting for the Liberal Democrats.

Gordon Brown's Labour party is struggling, and the Tories seem to have no idea how to help people who are being hurt by the recession. Only the Liberal Democrats have plans to deliver practical solutions to help people.

· We are getting things done locally here in Kent

. Liberal Democrats now run some of the country's largest cities

· We are providing real opposition in Parliament

. Winning the argument on the Ghurkhas,

. Calling things right on the economy

. Leading opposition to the Iraq war

· And we are also helping ensure that Europe delivers real benefits for our country

. More than 3 million jobs in the UK are dependent on trade with other EU countries. Liberal Democrats know that effective cooperation creates prosperity.

. Liberal Democrats are working with our European neighbours to protect Britain and catch terrorists and criminals who operate across national borders.

. Pollution and climate change have no respect for national borders. Countries have to work together to tackle climate change.

The European Parliamentary elections aren't about abstract and boring issues that have nothing to do with you. This is about our lives today.

· If you want to protect your family from the effects from credit crunch.

· If you want to protect your family from crime.

· If you are worried about climate change.

Vote Liberal Democrat and make a difference.
